How did Philippe Model originate?

It all started in the 1980s. Philippe's mother was a huge fan of art and visited one museum after another. Philippe went with her as much as possible and was inspired by it. At the age of twelve he started designing hats and shoes, which would eventually develop into his own line Philippe Model.

In the early eighties, Philippe designed his first iconic shoe: the Elastique. The attractive shoe laid the foundation for the modern sneaker. During this period he also opened his first boutique on the Place Marché St. Honoré in the heart of Paris and the brand has since become extremely popular.

In addition to designing his own beautiful brand, Philippe was also creative director at illustrious brands such as Dior and Kenzo.
