In 1957 it all started in a small department store in Toronto. Sam Tick starts the Metro Sportswear LTD brand there. The brand gets extra fame when Mount Everest is successfully climbed for the first time by a Canadian in 1982. Mountaineer Laurie Skreslet wears a specially designed Canada Goose parka during his climb.

In 1990 Dani Reiss, David's son, joins and drives the company's growth, which is why we know the brand as it is today.
